Baby and Toddler Groups
As well as a creche during the Sunday morning service, BGBC has a selection of groups during the week for you and your young children to enjoy.
Top of the Tots - Wednesday 10:30am
Top of the Tots is a music and singing group for babies and toddlers. It is primarily suited to children aged 6 months to 3 years although we have no age restrictions. Your baby may be just a few weeks old and you would like to meet some other Mums or you may have a 4 year old who still loves nursery rhymes.
The group meet every Wednesday morning at 10.30 to 11:30 apart from the Wednesday between Christmas and New Year and the Wednesdays during August. We sing songs and nursery rhymes and play a selection of instruments for about half an hour. We then serve squash and biscuits and have some social time where the adults can chat and the children can continue playing with the toys.
After everyone has gone home the leaders clean all the toys with antibacterial spray to ensure they are hygienic for the following week.
There is no charge for this group and no need to commit for a number of weeks – people just come and join in when they are able.
Baby Plus
Looking after small children can be tiring and keep you very busy. It can also mean that both mothers and babies miss out on social opportunities. Baby Plus each Thursday morning at BGBC aims to meet that need. There are lots of toys and entertainment, such as music, craft activities and stories, for the children to enjoy in a safe environment. Meanwhile the mums, dads and carers get plenty of chance to chat, and refreshments are provided.
Baby Plus meets at 9.30am every Thursday morning during term time in BGBC hall. Please do just come along or contact the church if you would like more information.
